The HSI Basic Life Support (BLS) program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in high-quality CPR skills and teamwork for the adult, child, and infant.

HSI Basic Life Support (BLS) reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), and it conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the annual Guidelines Update. Continuing Education Hours Available: Emergency Medical Services (CAPCE) and Dental Professionals (AGD/PACE).

- Blended Learning

         Classroom portion can be completed on your computer, tablet, or smart phone.

         Skills portion will be scheduled in person with your instructor after online portion is

         complete. You will not receive certification card until both classroom and skills have  

         been completed.

- Classroom 

         Traditional in person class completing both classroom / lecture and skills

          requirements. Certification cards will typically be received via automated email   

          from HSI within 24 Hours of course completion.
